PAN Card is mandatory for children now: Govt new order, get PAN card in just 10 minutes

Everyone knows that PAN card is mandatory for any financial transaction. There is a rule that everyone must have a PAN card. It’s not just for adults. Children can also get PAN card. Most people don’t know this. So let’s know how to get PAN card in your child’s name

PAN card is a necessary document for large financial transactions. This PAN card should be shown as proof while conducting financial transactions. The Income Tax Department has said that PAN card document must be submitted compulsorily while conducting 18 types of transactions. Everyone knows that anyone above the age of 18 can have a PAN card.

Aadhaar number is enough, you can get a PAN card in 10 minutes. Even those below 18 years of age can now get PAN card easily. The Income Tax Department has facilitated this process. One can apply for PAN card on the official website of National Securities Depository Limited (NSDL) to get PAN card. There are parents who deal in property in the name of children.

Bank accounts are also opened in child name. If parents disclose their children’s names as nominees for their investment, they should have PAN card in their name. So even those under 18 years of age should take PAN card. There are some rules for it. Minors cannot apply for PAN card by themselves. Instead their parents have to apply.

Previously, one had to struggle to get a PAN card. But now you can apply online and get PAN card easily. Not only those above 18 years, but also below 18 years can now have PAN card. Their parents have to apply for it. If you want to get PAN card for your children, first visit the official website of National Securities Depository Limited (NSDL) https://www.tin-nsdl.com/.

Click on PAN in Services there. Then click on Apply in the application for allotment of new PAN (Form 49A) section. Parents details should be entered along with details of children who want to take PAN card. Parent’s photograph and signature should be uploaded in the application.

Apart from these any document should be submitted in Identity Card, Address Proof, Children’s Aadhaar Card, Ration Card, Passport, Parent’s Aadhaar Card, Ration Card, Driving License, Passport, Voter ID Card. After submission of documents, Rs. 107 Pay the fee and submit the form. Receipt number will come after submission of application form. Application can be tracked with this number.

PAN card will be issued after verification. PAN card will arrive by post in 15 days. All the details should be verified after getting the PAN card. If there are any changes in the details, PAN card has to be applied for correction.
