HSRP Number Plates: Here is Easy method to install

High Security Registration Plate (HSRP)for all old and existing vehicles, two and three wheelers, light motor vehicles, passenger cars, medium and heavy commercial vehicles, trailer, tractor etc. vehicles registered before 1st April 2019 in Karnataka state(HSRP) implementation is mandatory.

HSRP Implementation Procedure for Old Vehicles:

Visit https://transport.karnataka.gov.in or www.siam.in and click on Book HSRP.

Select your vehicle manufacturer.

Fill the basic details of the vehicle.

Select the dealer location as per your convenience for HSRP implementation.

Pay the hSRP fee online. Fee payment cannot be made in cash.

OTP to the vehicle owner’s mobile number. Will be shipped.

Select the HSRP implementation date and time as per your convenience.

Vehicle owner’s office premises / home location can opt for HSRP implementation.

Visit any manufacturer/dealer of your vehicle.

Important points:

Imitative HSRP / Identical Plates / Smart Number Plates with fake hologram / IND Mark / India engraved or engraved shall not be fitted by any open market road side vendor. They are not HSRP panels.

Unless implemented by hSRP, no services such as transfer of vehicle ownership, change of address, entry/cancellation of installment agreement, renewal of eligibility certificate etc. are allowed.

There is no penalty for vehicles presenting a valid HSRP receipt within 30 days from the due date of HSRP implementation in case of payment of fee.

Date for Implementation: The time given till 17-11-2023 has been extended till 17-02-2024 by Govt.
