How to Update Aadhaar Card:

You can update Aadhaar card in online and offline mode. If you have not renewed your Aadhaar card for 10 years, you will need to renew. Aadhaar also contains your name, address, date of birth and biometric details like eye scan, fingerprint etc. In such a situation, you have to renew it once in 10 years.

You can renew your Aadhaar card by visiting your nearest Aadhaar center. Here you can update your name, fingerprint, eye scan etc. For this, you need to carry the above mentioned documents with you.

You can also update your Aadhaar online. You can update Aadhaar by visiting the official portal of UIDAI. To update Aadhaar, you need to pay fee of Rs 50. At this time, there is no charge for online renewals. This means you can update Aadhaar free of cost till 31 December 2023.
