Namma metro organization has announced a huge discount for passengers traveling in groups from one place to another in the metro. New Year gift from Metro: Huge discount for group traveller. According to Metro BMRCL, certain conditions have been imposed and a group must have a minimum of 25 people.
Namma Metro (BMRCL) is already very convenient for traffic-free travel in Silicon City Bengaluru. In this background, the number of daily metro commuters has been increasing in the past ten years. Now up to 5 lakh passengers travel in metro every day.
Metro said that if a family, people from organizations are going in a group for any meeting, ceremony or event, 10% to 20% discount is being given on the metro ticket price to facilitate them. This rule will be applicable from 1st January 2023 for metro group traveller, concessions for medium and large groups.
Can enter from different stations mentioned and exit at the same station or enter at the same station and exit at different stations mentioned. This is limited to a single journey. Apply before one week for medium and large group travel.
A written request should be submitted to the Corporation at least 7 days before the date of travel, indicating the date of travel, time, number of passengers entry station, departure station and purpose of travel.
