At least 7 Indian Army soldiers lost their lives in a vehicle accident in Ladakh. Army sources were reported as saying that several other soldiers have also sustained grievous injuries in the accident that took place in Turtuk sector in Ladakh. Efforts are on to ensure the best medical care for the injured, said Army sources. They added that air support has been requisitioned from the Indian Air Force so that the soldiers who have suffered serious injuries could be shifted to the Western Command.
