Vidya Balan Refuses To Have Dinner With Minister, Shooting Stopped; Here’s What We Know So Far

New Delhi: Bollywood actress Vidya Balan started shooting for her upcoming film ‘Sherni’ in October 2020 in Madhya Pradesh. The Amit Masurkar directorial remained in limelight after one of the actors, Vijay Raaz, was arrested for allegedly molesting a woman crew member on the film’s sets.

Now, several reports have suggested that the shooting for the movie was halted after Vidya Balan refused to have dinner with minister Vijay Shah. According to a report in an entertainment portal, the crew’s vehicles were not given the permission to enter the forest after Vidya reportedly turned down the dinner invite.

“I don’t know what exactly happened. But there was talk about a minister’s request for a lunch and when the request was turned down, the crew’s vehicles were refused permission to enter the forest the next day for shooting,”.
