In this regard, the Director of the Board of Secondary Education has issued a circular, and in the order of the Government, as per Order No. 04 of Appendix 11 of the Karnataka Education Act, 1999, the grant of festival advance to the staff of the aided schools to be effected immediately, subject to the condition of making appropriate amendments to the said regulations allowed to do.

Talking to media CS Shadakshari, the state president of the Government Employees Union, said that all the teachers’ organizations have requested the government to extend the Dussehra holiday and re-examine it.
