PU board exams: Students won’t be allowed to leave exam halls till the last bell.

Mysuru : The Pre-University Education Department is taking a few measures to prevent paper spills during the II PU exams, planned to begin from March 4.
Among the couple of measures that the load up has chalked out, understudies won’t be permitted to leave the assessment corridor till the last bell. If there should be an a emergency, the understudy can leave the test lobby yet she/he will be required to surrender the question paper to experts in the corridor.
This is being done to ensure question papers aren’t circulated during exam hours by those who exit the hall before the last bell. Apart from this the department it is gathered has also asked officials to shut down cyber cafes, xerox outlets operating in the center’s vicinity. The department is also planning a ban on mobile phones inside examination halls. The use of basic non-camera phones, however, will be allowed for emergency purposes.
In the wake of the allegations that couple of understudies leave clear pages in their answer sheet, which is filled by the analysts later, the office has requested that invigilators stamp the last page of the appropriate response sheets.
