KCET 2023 Counselling start from Tomorrow: Check documents, guidelines

The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) will start the document verification round of KCET 2023 counselling process from tomorrow, June 27. The KCET 2022 document verification will continue till July 15. KCET 2023 Counselling start from Tomorrow: Check documents, guidelines.

Candidates who have qualified KCET 2023 will have to submit certain documents in the verification round as part of the admission process. The document verification round of KCET 2023 will be held in three sessions forenoon session 1 and 2 and one afternoon session

Candidates can download it by accessing the official website, cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea. According to the official notice, the online document verification will be held for the candidates who are eligible under clause code ‘A’ in the UGET 23 form and the candidates who claimed eligibility under ‘B’, ‘C’, ‘D’, ‘E’, ‘F’, ‘G’, ‘H’, ‘I’, ‘J’, ‘K’, ‘L’, ‘M’, ‘N’ and ‘O’ will have to appear for the offline verification process at KEA Bangalore.

KCET 2023 Counselling: Important Guidelines

1. Students who participate in the KCET 2023 counselling will be eligible for the seat allotment.

2. Candidates are advised to report to the designated counselling centre and get the documents verified.

3. Once the document verification is complete, candidates will be allowed to fill out the college and course preferences.

4. KEA will exercise the seat allotment process only after considering the rank of the selected candidate, seat availability, and college and programme preferences among others.

5. For document verification, students are advised to carry all their original certificates along with two photocopies.

6. An acknowledgement card/letter and a verification slip will be given to candidates, before leaving the verification counter.

Students who are selected will have to report to their institutes to confirm their admission. They will also have to pay the KCET counselling fee. Candidates will be allotted to the participating institutes via the counselling process of KCET 2023. There are a total of 204 institutes that are offering BTech programmes under KCET 2023 participating institutes.
