A six-year-old girl who was suffering from high fever died failing to respond to the treatment. Karnataka: school declared holiday after 1st standard student dies of high fever.

The deceased is identified as Aradhya Acharya, daughter of Ravi Acharya, a resident of Hanuman Nagar in Kalladkahere Bantwal. A local medical practitioner was treating the child for the past one week.

However, in the last two days her fever increased and she passed away on Thursday, June 22. The exact cause of fever and death are yet to be ascertained.

Aradhya Acharya was pursuing her first standard in Mani Balavikasa English Medium School. The school management committee and teachers have condoled her death. In her honour, the school declared holiday on Thursday.
