Karnataka School Reopen: Govt issued new guidelines

Bengaluru: The Karnataka government has decided to re-open schools for students from Classes 9th to 12th and today issued new guidelines, but schools would reopen only in districts where the COVID-19 positivity rate is less than 2 per cent.

The Chief Minister said that all teachers, staff and parents of the school would be able to enter school premises only if they are fully vaccinated. According to a previous statement made by the Karnataka CM, schools would be operated in physical mode from August 23
