CBSE board made big announcement for Class 10 and 12 students

Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE Term 2 Exam 2022 is set to begin from April 26, 2022. As many as 34 lakh students of Classes 10 and 12 would appear for the examination. CBSE board made big announcement for Class 10 and 12 students.

Ahead of the same, the board has sent out guidelines to the schools which would be set as examination centres. With COVID cases under relative check, the board has also eased the COVID guidelines for the examination centres.

Meanwhile, CBSE 10th 12th Board Exam 2022 roll numbers and admit cards for Term 2 would be released this week. An official has informed the schools that the Term 2 admit cards would be sent to the schools this week itself to ensure timely distribution to the students. Admit cards for the private candidates would be uploaded on the website cbse.gov.in.

CBSE Term 2 Board Exams 2022: Guidelines

1. COVID guidelines eased – CBSE allows 18 students to be seated in a classroom as opposed to 12 students for Term 1

2. Other COVID guidelines including social distancing, mandatory masks and temperature checks remain in place

3. Unlike Term 1, the Term 2 question papers would be sent to the custodians.

4. Geo-tagging of the confidential material is mandatory at every stage to ensure proper record of movement of the same

5. Three step verification processes, validation at each step has been mandated by the board to ensure smooth conduct of the examination

6. The entire working of the examination centers would be handled by the Centre Superintendent only. While this is usually the Principal of the school, it is not mandatory. In the instance the Principal is not the CS, the former would not be allowed to remain at the Centre during the conduct of the examination.

7. CBSE Class 10, 12 Term 2 examinations 2022 would be a two-hour examination which would be conducted from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm.

8. Students would be required to report to the designated exam centers by 9:30 am and be seated by 10:00. Entry to the examination centers would be closed at 10:00 am and no student would be allowed inside under any circumstances

9. Question paper and answer sheet would be distributed to the students at 10:00 am so that they can fill the answer sheets carefully and also go through the question paper. A reading time of 20 minutes is provided to the student, as is customary for CBSE Board.

10. Entrance to examination hall would be on the presentation of the CBSE Roll Number/ Admit Card, which are duly signed by the Principal of their respective schools as well as their own signatures. Unsigned admit cards are not accepted and students may be barred from entry.

Parents and students are advised to go through the instructions which would be printed on the admit card as well. The schools would be provided with the admit cards along with the list of subjects opted by the students. These would then be duly signed by the principal of the schools and handed over to the students.
