Rape and molestation of a young woman in Amma’s Madilu Ashram, Ramnagar; FIR against three

Ramnagar : The young woman was raped, forced to marry her and kept in the ashram for three months.A serious allegation has been heard that a young woman was molested in the name of an old age home. The young woman was allegedly abused at Ammana Madilu, an asylum for the homeless and the elderly in Kempegowda Circle, Ramanagara. The aggrieved young woman has alleged that the young woman was raped and kept in an ashram for three months after being forcibly married. A young woman of Vaddaradoddi village in Ramnagar taluk was harassed and tortured by Malaki Preti and her friends Soumya and Yogesh of the ashram. Aggrieved, the young woman has complained to the women’s station of Ramnagar. An FIR has been registered against the three.

The young woman, who had quarreled with her elder brother Swami, found her at the bus stop and was taken to her mother’s lap by the owner of the ashram named Preeti. Later, Yogesh used the girl’s innocence for lust. After that, the aggrieved young woman accused the young woman of having an abortion.

Raped by injection, raw water and powder. Later, Preeti, Soumya and Yogesh got married to Kengeri native Chandrasekhar in Dharamsthala. Later, these three offered to spend the first night in the ashram and harassed them without leaving the ashram for three months.

 The young woman has filed a case against the three saying that they threatened to kill her if she told her brother. The Ramanagara Women’s Police started an investigation after receiving information that some young women were being kept in Amma Madilu Ashram, which was being run unofficially without permission from the district administration.
