New Delhi: Coronavirus is spreading across the country. Udupi is in the forefront of corona control and no positive case has been detected for the past 19 days. Not only that, Udupi district also holds the No. 1 position in the state in terms of corona testing.
The central government has taken stringent measures in the wake of the outbreak of coronavirus. Over 1007 people have been infected with coronavirus in the last 24 hours, while 23 have died of deadly coronavirus. A total of 13,387 people have been infected with coronavirus in the country so far and 1,749 have already recovered and discharged from the hospital. But Udupi district is in the forefront of Corona testing.
So far, 403 have been tested for coronavirus and only 3 have been tested positive. Two of them are already recovered, according to the Central Health Department.
Corona infection has not reached the third stage in the country. 13.06 percent of the country has been cured of corona infection. 5 lakh Rapid testing Kits have been distributed to the States, with the aim of making 10 lakh Kits. Also 1.73 lakh isolation wards have been prepared, the Health Department said.
