It is mandatory to disclose all the information about which accounts have been banned for violating IT rules. Accordingly, a total of 71.1 lakh accounts were banned in the month of September. Out of this, 25.7 lakh accounts have been pre-banned without receiving any report from the users.

This is a decision taken by WhatsApp for the safety of its users. That means that WhatsApp has included measures corresponding to WhatsApp’s own preventive measures to combat abuse on its platform. The move is a decision taken between September 1st to 30. During this period, WhatsApp received six orders from the Platform Complaints Appellate Committee.
Also all these six orders are followed. WhatsApp said it received a total of 10,442 user reports in September, including account support 1,031, ban appeal 7,396, other support 1,518, product support 370 and safety 127. During this period action was taken on the basis of reports received on 85 accounts. WhatsApp has also explained that it has taken remedial measures based on the “Accounts Actioned” report.

Currently banned WhatsApp accounts can be re-accessed by user requested restore and request denial reports. Recently, WhatsApp has said that you can log into two WhatsApp accounts on one smartphone. Through this, two active WhatsApp accounts can be logged in simultaneously. Meta company has also clarified that you do not need to log out of any WhatsApp account for this.

Now to set up two accounts on your mobile like this new option of WhatsApp, users need a second phone number and a SIM card or a multi-SIM supported phone. If your mobile supports dual SIM you can go to WhatsApp settings and set it. For this you need to open WhatsApp Settings, then tap on the arrow next to their name and click on “Add Account”. In this, using the secondary phone number, you can set up a second WhatsApp account.
