HAMMER Aura Air Open Ear Earbuds Launches At Rs 1299 With 60 Hour Battery

Indian electronics brand HAMMER has expanded its audio range with the new Aura Air Open Ear Earbuds. The company is targeting users who want to enjoy music without completely blocking out sounds from their surroundings.

Unlike conventional in ear earbuds, the Aura Air uses an open ear clip on design. The earbuds sit around the ears instead of going inside the ear canal. This allows users to continue hearing nearby sounds while listening to music.

The design could make the earbuds useful for everyday activities such as travelling, walking, workouts and commuting. HAMMER says the ergonomic construction is intended to reduce pressure and discomfort during longer listening sessions.

The entire pair weighs 48.5 grams, keeping the device relatively light for an open ear audio product. The clip on structure is designed to stay in position around the ears while users are moving, exercising or going about their daily routine.

For wireless connectivity, the Aura Air comes with Bluetooth 6.0. HAMMER says the newer Bluetooth standard has been tuned to provide stable connectivity, quick pairing and low latency. These features can be useful not only while listening to music but also when watching videos or taking calls.

Audio output is handled by 11mm titanium drivers. According to the company, the drivers are tuned to deliver deeper bass, clear high frequencies and detailed vocals. The overall audio experience will naturally depend on the content, device and listening environment.

Calling is another area where HAMMER has added hardware aimed at improving everyday use. The Aura Air comes with four MEMS microphones and Environmental Noise Cancellation technology. The system is designed to reduce surrounding noise and make the users voice clearer during calls.

This could be particularly useful when the earbuds are being used in busy surroundings. However, actual call quality can vary depending on the level and type of background noise.

Battery life is one of the major highlights of the new earbuds. HAMMER claims that the Aura Air can provide up to 60 hours of total playback with its charging case. Each earbud is said to deliver up to six hours of playback on a single charge.

Charging is handled through a Type C port. The company says the earbuds can be fully charged in around one and a half hours. The long claimed battery life could make the device convenient for people who do not want to charge their earbuds frequently.

The Aura Air has been introduced in a Champagne Gold dual tone finish. HAMMER has positioned it as an affordable option for people looking for an open ear listening experience without moving into the higher price segments.

The introductory price has been set at Rs 1299. The earbuds are available through HAMMERs official website as well as Amazon, Flipkart, Blinkit and Swiggy.

With its open ear construction, lightweight design, Bluetooth 6.0, four microphone setup and claimed 60 hour total battery life, the Aura Air is aimed at users who want a mix of convenience and awareness of their surroundings. Its affordable launch price also puts it within reach of buyers looking for a different style of wireless earbuds.
