Karnataka: Heavy rainfall alert for next 4 days, Issued red alert

The India Meteorological Department has announced a red alert on June 27 due to the possibility of heavy rains, and as a precautionary measure, schools in Dakshina Kannada district have been declared a school holiday tomorrow and an order has been issued from the district collector.

Heavy rainfall is likely to occur in eight districts of Karnataka for the next 4 days. Heavy rain will fall in many places including Uttara Kannada, Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, Belgavi, Chikkamagaluru, Hassan, Kodagu, Shimoga.

And also heavy rainfall in Bidar, Dharwad, Gadag, Haveri, Kalaburagi, Koppal, Raichur, Vijayapur, Yadgiri, Bellary, Bangalore Rural, Bangalore City, Chamarajanagar, Chikkaballapur, Chitradurga, Kolar, Mandya, Mysore, Tumkur, Vijayanagar districts will receive heavy rainfall.
