Heavy Rainfall Alert in these districts in Karnataka for 1 week

There is a possibility of rain in some parts of southern interior, coastal and a few parts of northern interior. Heavy rain with thundershower is likely to occur in south interior districts of Davangere, Ramnagar, Tumkur, Bangalore Rural, Mysore, Chamarajanagar and Mandya.

Kolar, Chikkaballapur, Bengaluru city will have scattered rains (Karnataka Weather Forecast). Scattered light to moderate rain is likely over north interior Vijayanagara district. Bellary, Koppal, Gadag, Bagalkote, Gadag, Haveri and Vijayapur are likely to receive thundershowers. Dry weather will prevail in the remaining parts.

Scattered moderate rain is likely in hilly Chikmagalur and Hassan. Widespread light to moderate rain is likely over Shivamogga and Kodagu districts. Also, rain is going to make noise in the coastal districts. Also, there is a possibility that the sea waves will increase.

While there is a possibility of thundershowers in Dakshina Kannada district along the coast, dry weather will continue in Uttara Kannada and Udupi.Bangalore will have mostly cloudy weather. There will be light rain in the evening or night.

Maximum temperature will be 28 and minimum temperature will be 20 degrees Celsius. A couple of places in the southern hinterland received rain on Thursday. Drought continued along the coast and north interior.

Low temperature of 12.5 degrees Celsius was recorded in Vijayapur.It will rain continuously from today till December 13. Some district administrations have also been warned. The weather department has given an alert.
