Before the start of the ICC ODI World Cup tournament, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is making one stumbling block. Initially the criticism on the schedule of the World Cup 2023, then the confusion of the venues. Meanwhile, another important decision is said to have been taken.

However, according to Dainik Jagran’s latest reports, BCCI will not hold any opening ceremony.

If these reports are true, Only the meeting of the leaders of all the teams will be held on the 4th. Then there might be a laser show. Instead of the opening ceremony, the BCCI is planning to hold the closing ceremony on November 19 or a grand ceremony before the India-Pakistan match on October 14.

The captains of all 10 teams will arrive in Ahmedabad on October 3. Leaders meeting will be held on 4th. But as India-Netherlands and other teams have a warm-up match today, some captains including Rohit Sharma are said to be leaving for Ahmedabad on October 4 morning.

India will play their second and final warm-up match today (October 3) against the Netherlands at the Green Field Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram.
