It is said that this amount has increased to Rs 100 crore. Some reports says that, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) has decided to drop the famous players from the team.

After the World Cup 2023, Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is now preparing for the IPL tournament. BCCI, which has conducted the auction process in India for so many seasons, has decided to conduct the auction abroad this time. Already the teams are preparing the list of players to keep in their team. This time the IPL 2024 auction will be held for the world’s biggest cricket league IPL 2024 season.

Famous players name will be listed in the auction to be held in Dubai on December 19. This is the first time that the IPL auction is being held abroad. The IPL teams have to submit the list of players to be retained in their squad by November 26. It is said that the purse (bid amount for players) of 10 IPL teams has increased to Rs 100 crore from Rs 95 crore available in the previous auction.

Rs 12.20 crore with Punjab Kings last year, after adding Rs 5 crore to it, this amount has increased to Rs 17.20 crore. Mumbai Indians had Rs 50 lakhs in purse and will add Rs 5 crores and this amount will be total Rs 5.05 crores. Sunrisers Hyderabad’s purse is now Rs 11.55 crore. Gujarat Titans’ purse is Rs 4.45 crore, now it has increased to Rs 9.45 crore, Delhi Capitals’ purse has now increased to Rs 9.45 crore.

Lucknow Super Giants purse has increased to a total of Rs 8.55 crore. By adding Rs 5 crores RCB will have 6.75 crores. Defending champion Chennai Super Kings had Rs 6.5 crore in purse. As per IPL committee rules, each franchise can have 25 players in their squad, including a maximum of 8 foreign players.
