JDS candidate HD Kumaraswamy has made a big lead in Mandya Lok Sabha constituency. Kumaraswamy maintained his lead from the beginning and secured a lead of more than 1 lakh votes.

Counting of votes for 543 Lok Sabha constituencies has started from 8 am today and the fate of 8,360 candidates will be decided. Tejaswi Surya has taken the lead in Bangalore South in the fourth round as well. Tejaswi Surya has maintained a lead of more than 50 thousand votes. Tejaswi Surya got 92,840 votes while Soumya Reddy got 38,914 votes. In the Rae Bareli Lok Sabha constituency, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has made a huge lead and has maintained a lead of 18,000 votes. BJP candidate has lost ground against Rahul Gandhi.

BJP is leading in Mysore-Kodagu Lok Sabha constituency. BJP candidate Yaduveer got 1,64,337 votes. Congress candidate Laxman secured 128,870 votes while Yaduveer was leading by 35467 votes. Also, Prime Minister Narendra Modi suffered an initial setback in the Varanasi Lok Sabha constituency.

He lost by 6223 votes. In Bangalore Rural Lok Sabha constituency, BJP candidate Dr. C.N. Manjunath got 141,752 votes. Congress candidate D.K. Suresh got 91,286 votes and BJP was leading by a margin of 50,466 votes.

In the counting of votes held so far, the NDA has led in 282 constituencies, while the Union of India has taken the lead in 226 constituencies. Independent candidates have also maintained their lead in 25 constituencies. BJP is leading in 15 Lok Sabha constituencies in Karnataka while Congress is leading in six constituencies.
