After hectic parleys in Delhi over the past two days, Congress on Thursday is believed to have zeroed in on 20 to 24 MLAs who are likely to be inducted in the Siddaramaiah government in Karnataka. Karnataka Cabinet 2023: 24 new ministers will take Oath Tomorrow.

The new ministers will be sworn in on Saturday at 11.45am, likely at Raj Bhavan, Congress functionaries said. Earlier in the day, Karnataka chief minister Siddaramaiah and his deputy D K Shivakumar held meetings with top Congress leaders in New Delhi regarding expansion of the state cabinet.

The duo had met Congress general secretary in-charge for Karnataka Randeep Surjewala and the party’s general secretary (organisation) K C Venugopal.

Possible minister are Ishwara Khandre, Lakshmi Hebbalkar, Shivananda Patil, Sharanbasappa Darshanapura, Basavaraja Rayareddy, HC Mahadevappa, K Venkatesh, SS Mallikarjuna, Shivraja Thangadagi.

Bhairathi Suresh, Krishna Bhairegowda, Rahim Khan, Dr Ajay Singh, C Puttarangshetty, PM Narendraswamy, MC Sudhakar, D Sudhakar, HK Patil, N Chaluvarayaswamy, KN Rajanna or B Nagendra and Laxman Savadi, Jagadish Shettar is likely to get ministerial posts. He is likely to take oath tomorrow or later.
