Weather Update: IMD rain forecast in these states

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) in its weather bulletin has forecast fresh heavy rains, thundershowers over Arunachal Pradesh, Assam and Meghalaya from March 30. The Meteorological Department has forecast rain/snowfall in many parts of Uttar Pradesh till March 30.
Talking about hot and humid weather, the IMD has predicted that it is likely to prevail over Rayalaseema, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Karaikal, Kerala and Mahe till March 30. The India Meteorological Department has forecast widespread light to moderate rains with isolated thunder and lightning over north eastern states including Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura during March 26-30.
Delhi has predicted cloudy weather in the national capital today. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to settle at 36 degrees Celsius and 18 degrees Celsius respectively. According to the Central Pollution Control Board, the Air Quality Index (AQI) was recorded in the moderate category with a reading of 159 at 8 am.
The IMD has forecast light to moderate rains with thunder and lightning over sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim till March 30. Heavy rains are expected in Assam and Meghalaya on March 30. IMD has forecast light to moderate rain over Bihar on March 27 and 30 and Jharkhand and Odisha on March 30.

Light rain with thunder and lightning is forecast over Punjab, Haryana, West Uttar Pradesh during March 28-30 and Rajasthan on 29 and 30, East Uttar Pradesh on March 30. The India Meteorological Department has issued rain/snowfall warnings in several parts of Jammu-Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit-Baltistan, Muzaffarabad and Himachal Pradesh.
IMD has predicted light rain/snowfall with isolated thunder and lightning over Jammu-Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit-Baltistan, Muzaffarabad and Himachal Pradesh till 30 March; over Uttarakhand during March 28-30. Besides, isolated hailstorm is forecast over Jammu and Kashmir today and Himachal Pradesh on March 28 and 29, Uttarakhand on March 29 and 30.
