Check whether you have an account in these banks. RBI cancels license of Botad Peoples Cooperative Bank. It is recognized as a non-banking institution. Henceforth it cannot conduct any banking business. Botad People’s Cooperative does not accept any deposits. Unclaimed deposits and unpaid deposits can now be paid by non-members.

RBI has also canceled the license of Adarsh Mahila Nagari Sahakari Bank. It also cannot do any banking transactions further. The RBI has already issued instructions to the Commissioner and Registrar of Co-operative Societies in Maharashtra regarding the bank liquidation process.

That means in the bank those with funds up to Rs 5 lakh will get the full amount. Along with this, RBI canceled the license of The Faiz Mercantile Co-Op. Bank Nashik, Musiri Urban Co-operative Bank.
