IMD Issued Heavy Rainfall Alert in these parts for next 5 days

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast moderate rain with thunder, lightning and hail over many parts of the country for the next five days.

Due to untimely rains, people’s lives are disrupted. The India Meteorological Department (IMD) Issued Heavy Rainfall Alert in these parts for next 5 days.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast moderate rain with thunder, lightning and hail over many parts of the country for the next five days. The India Meteorological Department has forecast sporadic light rain or snowfall over the western Himalayan regions from March 22 to March 24.

According to the India Meteorological Department, light rain or snowfall is forecast in Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, Muzaffarabad, Himachal Pradesh and Uttarakhand during March 22 to 24. Further, the IMD has forecast scattered heavy rain and snowfall in Arunachal Pradesh on March 23.

Besides, IMD has forecast scattered rain over Punjab on March 22 and 24, Haryana and West Uttar Pradesh on March 24. The India Meteorological Department office said light to moderate rains are likely at different places in Gangetic West Bengal on March 22 and 24.

During March 22 to March 26, light to moderate rain accompanied by thunder and lightning occurred over northeastern and eastern Indian states like Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Sub-Himalayan West Bengal and Sikkim.

According to Weather report, light to moderate rains may occur over Ganga West Bengal, Bihar and Jharkhand during the next 24 hours and taper off later. Light rain is likely over coastal Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu and Kerala. Light to moderate rains with lightning and hail are likely to occur in Northeast India, along with some heavy rains.

Light to moderate snowfall is possible over Western Himalayas. 1 or 2 moderate rains with light rain over Western Himalayan region. Occasional hailstorm is likely over Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh.
