Gold Price Today: 24-carat gold fell by Rs 10 in early trade on Friday, with 10 grams of the precious metal trading at Rs 71,720. Silver prices also fell by Rs 100, with a kilogram of the precious metal selling at Rs 89,900. Gold Price down again: Check latest rates in your cities.

The price of the yellow metal decreased to Rs 65,740 and 22 carat gold price down Rs 10. Ten grams of 24-carat gold price in Mumbai is Rs 71,720, same prices in Kolkata and Hyderabad. In Delhi, Bangalore and Chennai, the price of ten grams of 24 carat gold is Rs 71,870, Rs 71,720 and Rs 72,270 respectively.

In Mumbai, the price of ten grams of 22 carat gold is equivalent to Rs 65,740 in Kolkata and Hyderabad. In Delhi, Bangalore and Chennai, ten grams of 22 carat gold is priced at Rs 65,890, Rs 65,740 and Rs 66,240 respectively. Silver price in Delhi is Rs 89,900 per kg in Mumbai and Kolkata. 94,400 per kg of silver in Chennai.

US gold prices edged lower on Friday but headed for their third consecutive quarterly rise, while investors looked ahead to key US inflation data later in the day that may shed some light on the Federal Reserve’s stance on interest rate cuts.

Spot gold was down 0.3 percent at $2,321.39 an ounce by 0157 GMT. Prices rose nearly 4 percent in the quarter. Bullion was flat for both the week and month. Spot silver was down 0.5 percent at $28.91 an ounce, platinum was up 0.7 percent at $994.42 and palladium was up 1.5 percent at $943.22.
