FASTag KYC Renewal: The central government has given big relief to the vehicle owners and extended the deadline for completion of FASTag Know your customer (KYC) by one month. Yes, the last date to complete KYC was 31 January 2024. Now you can complete FASTAG’s KYC by February 29.
A fast tag is required to travel on highways or expressways. A FASTag sticker is placed on your car, which automatically deducts the toll tax amount. To recharge the FASTag, a machine at the toll booth scans the sticker and deducts the fee. According to the agency, one more month will be available to complete FASTag KYC.
The government had earlier given time till 12 noon on January 31 to complete the KYC. But now the deadline has been extended by one month.

How to update FASTag KYC:
Go to FASTag Portal: fastag.ihmcl.com/
Login using your registered mobile number and password or OTP.
Select My Profile on the dashboard, where you will find your KYC details that you submitted earlier during registration.
Click on KYC and select ‘Customer Type’
Fill all the details. Submit ID Proof like Aadhaar etc.

How to update FASTag KYC offline:
Visit a Bank Branch: Go to the branch where your FASTag is issued.
Complete KYC Form: Fill the form and attach copies of required documents.
Submit and wait for verification: Submit your form to the bank to verify and renew your FASTag.
Required Documents: Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Driving License and Vehicle Registration Certificate.
