Bank holidays in May 2024:

Bank Holiday on May 1: Banks in India and Maharashtra will be closed due to May Day/Labour Day and Maharashtra Day.

May 8 Bank Holiday: Banks will be closed in West Bengal on the birth anniversary of the great Rabindranath Tagore.

May 10 Bank Holiday: Bank holiday due to Akshaya Tritiya festival.

May 23 Bank Holiday: Banks are closed on the occasion of Buddha Purnima.

Bank holiday: Banks in some states will be closed on May 24 for Nazrul Jayanti and the next phase of 2024 Lok Sabha elections.

Banks will be closed on May 11, the second Saturday

Banks will be closed on May 25, the fourth Saturday

Bank Holiday on Sundays: May 4, 12, 18 and 26
