Also, it has been suggested to Karnataka PUC students reopen the colleges from October 14 (College Open). In this regard, a circular has been issued by the Pre-Graduate Education Department and it has been stated that in the enrollment guidelines for the 2022-23 academic year of the Department Of Pre-University Education, the interim vacation has been scheduled from 01-10-2022 to 12-10-2022.
Now the holiday has been extended by one extra day on 13-10-2022. Thus all pre-degree colleges have been instructed to restart from 14-10-2022.

On the occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi Deputy Commissioner (DC) Dr Rajendra KV has declared a holiday for schools and colleges on September 2 coming under Mangaluru police commissionerate limits. Karnataka: Schools and Colleges holiday in this place on September 2.
In a media release, the DC stated, “There is the immersion of the Ganesh idols in several places within Mangaluru police commissionerate limits on September 2 and as per the information from the police department, there will be heavy traffic movement and huge public gatherings in the city.
Hence, there will be the possibility of inconvenience for the students. “For school children’s safety, in public interest and as a precautionary measure, a holiday has been declared for all anganwadi, primary and high schools, pre-university, degree, ITI, diploma colleges, and government-aided and private institutions on September 2,” the media release stated.
One day holiday has been given to government, aided and private educational institutions including Anganwadi, Primary and High School, Pre-Graduation, Graduation, Post-Graduation, Diploma, ITI under Police Commissionerate of Mangaluru City. The BJP said here on August 30 that about one lakh workers of the party will attend the official programme of Prime Minister Narendra Modi scheduled at Goldfinch city grounds at Kuluru in the city on September 2.
