Actor-producer Virendra Babu has been arrested by police in Bengaluru in a case of rape and threats to his life. Kodigehalli police have arrested the accused Veerendra Babu. But on last July 30, it is said that Virendra Babu called the woman and threatened her. The woman has alleged that they surrounded her in the car and snatched her gold jewellery. The complaint states that he was threatened with a gun.

The woman filed a complaint regarding this incident. Based on this, the police have registered an FIR against Virendra Babu and his friends on charges of rape and death threats. At present, the accused has been arrested by Kodigehalli police. The case is being investigated.
