The examination system for SSLC and PUC students has undergone a major change this year. The Education Department, which had conducted three main examinations for students over the last two years, has now decided to conduct only two main exams from this academic year. Karnataka SSSLC And PUC Exam: Board Made Important Announcement To Students.

The decision has reportedly been taken after Karnataka recorded a significant improvement in results last year. Therefore, students will now have to prepare with a focus on the revised two-exam system. For the past two years, students were given the opportunity to appear for three main examinations. However, from this year onwards, the government has decided to limit the system to only two main exams.

While some believed that the three-exam system provided students with additional opportunities, concerns were also raised that it could affect the academic schedule and create difficulties during the higher education admission process. Considering these factors, the decision to reduce the number of examinations has gained importance.

The Education Department has decided to conduct only two main examinations and has advised students to focus more on their studies according to the new system. Officials have instructed students not to neglect their exam preparation and have also directed teachers and concerned authorities to prepare students for the revised examination pattern.

There were mixed opinions regarding the three-exam system. Concerns were raised that examinations could continue from March to September throughout the year, affecting the academic calendar. Hence, the government has decided to conduct only two exams.

The department has released guidelines and manuals for repeaters and private candidates who wish to appear for SSLC and PUC examinations. School headmasters and college principals have been given time to complete the registration process through their respective school login portals before November 11.

The SATS (Student Achievement Tracking System) software will be used for the student registration process, and further details will be available through the system.

Students and institutions have been informed that details such as the candidate’s name, parents’ names, date of birth, category, religion, gender, and examination medium cannot be directly modified during the login process.
