The issue of wearing hijab and attending schools and colleges in the state was the cause of huge conflict. Now KEA has allowed to wear hijab for the examination of corporate boards various Posts.

The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has given permission to wear hijab to appear in the examination to be held on October 28 and 29 for filling up the posts of various corporation boards.

The issue of wearing hijab and attending schools and colleges in the state was the cause of huge conflict. Now KEA has allowed to wear hijab for the examination of corporate boards various Posts. Candidates should be present at the examination center one hour before the examination. KEA said that they will be checked by women personnel.

Candidates appearing for the exam should bring Admit Card, 2 recent passport size photographs, Government Validated Identity Card. The Karnataka examination authority said that they are not allowed to go out till the examination is over.
