In good news for lakhs of students who are going to take CBSE Class 10, 12 Board Exams 2021, the Central Board of Secondary Education is allowing the students to change their examination centre for the upcoming CBSE Board Exams 2021. The CBSE has released a notice announcing that the students have the option to submit a request for a change in the exam centre.
The students can submit the request for both practical as well as theory exams. It is to be noted that COVID-19 outbreak has forced many students of CBSE class 10, 12 to shift along with their families to some other city or country. This has made it quite tough for several students of CBSE Class 10, 12 to appear for exam from the school or examination centre the students is enrolled or allotted.
How to apply for CBSE Board Exam centre change
All students, who are set to appear for CBSE Class 10, 12 Board Exams 2021, can request for the change. The students must request their respective school to change the theory exam centre or practical exam centre. Students have the option to request for change in either or both the exam centres.
The students will, however, need to provide the city and state they want to appear in the examination from. Once the student will make the request, schools would get the option to login to their CBSE website and forward the request. The notice reads, “choice of city from where student wishes to appear in the examination should be submitted carefully as no change will be allowed once request is submitted by the school.”
Notably, if a student wants to change the centre for both theory and practical examination, the centre would be changed to only one city. In another notice, CBSE has allowed schools to conduct the practical examinations in 3 shits per day instead of 2.
CBSE Class 10, 12 Board Exams 2021 are scheduled to begin from May 4, 2021. The exams for Class 10 would end on June 8 and for Class 12 on June 14. The CBSE Class 10, 12 Board Exams 2021 date sheet is available on cbse.nic.in.
